Reggae CD Review - Strictly The Best 33

Strictly The Best 33

Album: Strictly The Best 33
Artist: Various
Label: VP
Reviewer:
LeanneClifford
Rating: 4/5

This album contains 15 tracks of Strictly the Best and current dancehall. So its time to tuck in ya belly and begin rubber dubbin !!

First of all ive got to mention and Give Respect to Wayne Marshall and the supreme track "The Right Herb". I was pleasantly surprised to hear the night nurse riddim accompanying Marshalls lyrics.

Respect!!

Then there's Left Side & Esco - "Tuck in u Belly", a huge tune right now and the riddims used on the album again by Buju Banton on the track "Me Too Bad".
I cant get enough of Buju and his material, such a distinguished, truly talented man who i've worshipped for over 10 years and rightly so deserves Copious ammounts of love in this review.

He appears again on this album along side Anthony Cruz on the Track "Too Bloody", Sweet, Sweet tune which everybody should have in there collection.

I'm gonna stop there and leave the rest of the album as a surprise...

Over all, the album is consistant, with some tough tunes and well respected artists. Enjoy !!

Rating: 5/5

Big Tings Gwan !!

Cuttys first album since 1996, and a long awaited one to ..
And what an amazing comeback from the Reggae Legend.

I'm feelin a totally new vibe from Cutty on this album in comparison to his earlier works.

Fresh, Unique, Raw to the core dancehall that sent shivers down my spine.

Deep tracks like Hard For It in which he points out the downfalls of Cocaine..
Dirty Mind in which he looks at people who instigate war n crime, And 20" (20 inch) Mega Mix Which
is a HUGE tuneeee.

Also Mellow Riddims a come to, such as:

Take Me Away

Guilty

Better Day

Strange Feeling

Wise Up

There's a lil something for everyone on this album with 19 tracks to choose from, and i know theres
Cutty Ranks fans by the thousands that have been waiting for this time to come.

Well people,
The time is upon us and i trust you'll all go out and purchase this truly remarkable album
and give Cutty 100% of love and support for this Tremendous compilation.
