The album's title "Love Thing" kinda says it all.
If your an avid fan of lovers rock or an easy listener, then this album is definetely one for the collection. It's what i like to call my Sunday Morning Music.
Nice and Mellow for those laid back, lazy occuring days. There wasn't one bad track on this album and i'm sure BigUp will be sporting some of Winstons material in the near future.
Paradise In Your Eyes Is The Track That Outputs What This Album Represents and i hope u all enjoy the track and the album as much as i did !!
Bigup Radio, Inc., operators of the industry-leading BigUp Radio network of Reggae internet radio stations and leading web-site (www.bigupradio.com) for Reggae CDs, DVDs, vinyl, news and reviews, is pleased to announce a new weekly show in partnership with Bassmentality Sound.
Beginning November 9th, BigUp listeners will be able to tune-in every Wednesday to “Boom Shots,” a two hours program showcasing the latest singles, riddims, remixes and more, mixed together and presented by DJ Boom. The show will be broadcast 9am and 9pm EST to reach both US and European markets.
Bassmentality’s DJ Boom has established himself in the East-Coast Reggae and club scene as a top DJ for what’s hot in Dancehall music. With an ear for mixing everything from Reggae torch-bearers like Sanchez and Beres Hammond to the hottest new tracks from artists like Sean Paul and Damian Marley, DJ Boom can be seen working the turn-tables at most Jah Works shows and is a well-known face at Baltimore’s Funk Box.
“We’re thrilled to bring our listeners into the world of DJ Boom,” commented BigUp Radio’s President Raoul Krakowski. “Slamming dancehall is always a good thing, but when it’s mixed together by somebody with the ear and talent of DJ Boom, it takes things to a whole new level and we couldn’t be happier to be working together.”

Shaggy recently shot the video for his soon-to-be-released single “Broadway”. This song, from his new album Clothes Drop, pays homage to one of Dancehall’s original rude bwoys, Barrington Levy. The video, shot by director Jason Williams, took place in Manhattan’s Negril Village Restaurant and featured cameos from Reggae’s finest. Look good in the crowd and you’ll see everyone from Camille McDonald of “America’s Next Top Model” fame to Irie Jam’s Bobby Clarke and “Spread Love” Bobby to Hot 97’s Bobby Konders and Jabba. Big Yard artist, Ky-Enie, was in full effect, soaking up the sunshine from some of the Caribbean’s most beautiful models and dancers. The hype was definitely on in the West Village with video cameras from MTV’s new Caribbean station Tempo and LinkUp Media’s Plush TV catching the spontaneous action of dancers like Ding Dong, Spike Dancers, and the Active Crew. This collaboration allows Shaggy to come full circle in his music. In the early 90’s, Barrington Levy was a headliner on Shaggy’s very first stage show. The two of them working together now is “natural”, says Shaggy. While the taping lasted well into the next morning, an exhausted Jay Will promised that all the hard work will be “well worth it”. The Clothes Drop album debuted three weeks ago at the #2 spot on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart, and the first single “Wild 2Nite” is topping the charts in Europe. The video is expected to hit a cable station near you in mid-November. Press Contact: Odette Flemming | ||
